Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of Niilox API. Violations may result in suspension or termination under our Terms of Service.

1. Lawful use only

You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to promote, enable, or conceal illegal activity. You must comply with telecom, consumer, spam, and privacy laws in every destination country.

2. Messaging and calling

You must not:

• Send unsolicited bulk SMS or spam; obtain and honor opt-in / opt-out where required.
• Phish, spoof trusted brands, or send malware links.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse recipients.
• Use numbers for unlawful robocalling or illegal robocalls / silent calls.
• Bypass carrier filters by deceptive content or snowshoeing.
• Use rented numbers in ways forbidden by the number’s country or capability (e.g. SMS from a voice-only market).

3. Platform abuse

• No unauthorized scanning, load testing that degrades service, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
• No sharing of other customers’ data obtained through the platform.
• No attempts to circumvent rate limits, billing, or access controls.
• No resale of raw connectivity in violation of carrier or our Terms without written approval.

4. Content restrictions

Do not transmit content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes IP rights, or that we reasonably believe creates legal or carrier risk for Niilox or other customers.

5. Security

Protect API keys and credentials. Report suspected compromise to support@niilox.com promptly.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate, throttle, block destinations, reclaim numbers, or suspend tenants when we detect AUP risk. We may report illegal activity to authorities or carriers when required.
